I am curious if you a) interpret the Substack Pangram move through the lens of an ‘earning-trust vector’ at all, and b) if so what lessons there may or may not be for other institutions that ultimately depend on trust whether they know it or not.
Assuming it all works out OK without drama:
(a) yes!
(b) among other institutions, academic journals should do the same
